It's been a while since we have made a Triple Threat blog update. Since we checked-in in April, the boys have played in the Meg Vang Invitational (1-2), ECI Classic (4-0), Northstar State Tournament (2-2), Great Plains Alliance (2-2), and Midwest Summer Slam (4-0).
Triple Threat has moved from an unranked team in the preseason (according to NorthstarHoopsReport.com) to the #11 team in the state since winning the ECI Classic and the Midwest Summer Slam. Triple Threat played, competed with, and beaten some very good teams in the Midwest this summer. The list is highlighted by beating #8 Comets Lewis, ECI Prospects, MN Select Ellis, MN Heat Calistro, TC Runnin Rebels, and MN Magic Black twice. They have also competed against some top teams well by losing to Comets Lewis by 1, WI Blizzard Boots by 1, and MN Select Ellis by 1, and MN Phenom by 1.
The boys will wrap up their summer in the Wisconsin Dells Exposure Classic on July 24-25 (Thursday-Friday). They are continuing to grow on and off the court, and are hungry for another title in the Dells.
